Home & Community Care and CHSP

ACSA supports its home & community care and CHSP members by engaging with government and other stakeholders on relevant reform and policy development.

As a member of the Support at Home Alliance, we continue to advocate on reform issues impacting home and community care providers, including the new ‘Support at Home’ program.

ACSA has Home and Community Care Advisory Committees as advisory bodies to represent the views of the wider ACSA membership and assist ACSA in implementing its strategic plan.

Home Care Workforce Support Program

ACSA, together with the Human Services Skills Organisation (HSSO), PowerHouse Hub and MEGT Australia are strengthening the personal care workforce to help older Australians live at home for longer.

The Home Care Workforce Support Program is an Australian Government initiative that supports home care providers to attract, recruit, train and retain new personal care workers.

Providing targeted support to home care providers in Tasmania and Victoria, will allow older Australians to access high quality home care services where and when they need them.
