Together We Can...

ACSA’s workforce initiatives have all been developed and implemented by taking the ‘together we can’ approach.

25 Feb 2020

This approach underpins the Workforce Innovation Networks, which are an opportunity to identify and develop solutions to regional workforce issues in a collaborative environment. Currently there are 17 Workforce Innovation Networks across Australia.

Participation is voluntary and all service providers are welcome including:

  • Aged Care Service providers;
  • Job Active and Disability Employment Services Providers;
  • Registered Training Organisations and Education Providers; and
  • All levels of Government.

All stakeholders involved in building the capacity and capability of the Aged Care Services workforce work together to identify and address the key workforce priorities of their region. The exchange of information and discussions also form the basis of future workforce initiatives and programs.

The significant value in developing networks and working collaboratively has seen 3 new networks being established in NSW (Central coast, Hunter Valley & Newcastle) as well as in North Queensland (Townsville).

Upcoming Workforce Innovation Network Meetings include:

  • TAS Innovation Network Meeting: March 3
  • WA (South West) Innovation Network Meeting: March 25

Together we can build the capacity and capability of the Aged Care Services workforce.
