The End of Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC)

ACSA and ELDAC are seeking content reviewers who are available in March 2018.

01 Mar 2018

Aged & Community Services Australia (ACSA) is a partner in a major end-of-life capacity building project in aged care involving a consortium of 3 universities and 5 national agencies including provider representatives.

The End of Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) project was announced by the Minister for Health Greg Hunt on 17 October 2017.

This project seeks to improve the care of older Australians through advance care planning and palliative care activities.

We need your help!

To increase sector capacity to provide quality care the Project is developing a set of toolkits for residential, home and primary care settings plus others that deal with legal issues and service partnerships.

We need content reviewers who are available in March 2018, for three of the toolkits to ensure they will meet your needs as service providers.  There will be other content reviewers for all five toolkits.

Download ‘What is ELDAC’ fact sheet  and ‘What is an ELDAC toolkit’ fact sheet.

What is required?

It’s easy! Indicate which toolkit/s you are interested in reviewing and you will be sent toolkit/s content with a feedback form.  It won’t take long, no more than 30 minutes of your valuable time invested in making sure you and your organisation are getting the information you need.

Residential Aged Care Toolkit – seeking a residential aged care manager; and a registered nurse working in residential aged care.

Home Care Toolkit ‑ seeking a home care manager; a registered nurse working in residential aged care; and a quality manager working in home care.
