New ACSA – One National Body, One Voice

ACSA has achieved its commitment to move to a national entity so that it is well positioned to meet national challenges and ensure ongoing and increased effectiveness in service delivery to its members.

ACSA is now in a strong position to lift the profile of the industry through improved research and policy development and enhanced media and marketing.   Enhanced processes for policy advice will improve member engagement in the formulation of submissions to government bodies as well as continuing the high level of support currently available to members when they need assistance.

A national entity also creates the best vehicle to maximise the use of member fees by streamlining how the single national organisation goes about its business.

While local service delivery is still seen as a core deliverable for the national entity ACSA will expand its current services to better support providers by providing national access to staff specialised in the aged services workforce and employee relations. We will streamline communications so that we get important content to you quickly and in the format you want; and still provide opportunities for you to network and build the relationships that are at the core of our values.

The reform of the sector will continue and as such the sector can only benefit from having a strong and unified voice.
