Outstanding achievements shine during the most difficult year in aged care ever

ACSA has announced the state and territory winners of the 2021 ACSA Aged Care Awards.

03 Nov 2021

The annual ACSA Aged Care Awards highlight outstanding achievements and contributions made by organisations, teams and individuals in the aged care industry throughout the year.

There are five categories that people and providers in the aged care sector have been nominated for in ACSA's 2021 Aged Care Awards: Provider of the Year; Innovation in Service or Design; Employee of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; and Regional, Rural, Remote Provider of the Year.

The winners from each category will form the list of finalists for the national awards, which will be announced on Tuesday 7 December.

“Around the nation there are thousands of people working incredibly hard to deliver the best possible care to older Australians. It’s important we celebrate our achievements and the people who have helped us through the most difficult time in our history,” ACSA CEO Paul Sadler said.

“The entire sector has worked so hard to maintain and improve standards while dealing with a pandemic and an entirely new compliance system.

“It’s an absolute delight to acknowledge the exceptional work of these providers, teams and individuals. These winners are just some of the many in the sector that we should look to as shining examples of what aged care has the potential to contribute to our community.

“ACSA congratulates all the winners, as well as the nominees, for each category for their commitment to deliver quality care to many older Australians,” said Mr Sadler.
