Innovator Training Program Round 2 applications open

Applications are now open for the Aged Care Centre for Growth and Translational Research Innovator Training Program (ITP) Round 2.

16 Jun 2022

The ITP is an online and interactive program that provides participants with “tools and skills to use best available knowledge and evidence to identify and solve problems and challenges, or implement opportunities, in their workplace”. The 2022 ITP priorities are dementia, restorative care and rehabilitation, urgent and critical need, social isolation and health and wellbeing.

The ITP will be delivered part-time over a 10 week period, with the contact-time commitment for the program being a full-time equivalent period of three-weeks over the 10 week period, which includes regularly scheduled compulsory online workshops each week. The outcome of the ITP is a “project with a well-defined problem that is achievable to address within a 12-month timeframe”.

If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, please review the following documents:

  • ITP Guidelines – includes information on the eligibility criteria, program duration, salary contribution towards time commitment, conditions of award, etc. Note that the eligibility criteria include (but are not limited to) a requirement to identify a problem or challenge that could be solved, or opportunity that when applied could improve practice, with this relating to the priorities of the Centre.

  • ITP FAQs – includes benefits of the program, logistical information and guidance on how best to describe the problem identified in your workplace.

Applications are due on 1 July 2022 and can be submitted here.
