ACSA National Summit 2018 - Call for Papers OPEN NOW

ACSA invites members to participate in the ACSA National Summit 3-5 September by submitting a topic for discussion at the event.  The theme for 2018 is ‘What’s Next? Identify, Adapt, Deliver’.

ACSA is pleased to confirm the Call for Papers search is now open for the 2018 National Summit. We invite you to participate by submitting a topic for consideration at the event.

The Summit will be held from 3-5th September 2018 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.

The theme for 2018 is ‘What’s Next? Identify, Adapt, Deliver’.

The 2018 ACSA National Summit will raise the question, ‘What’s Next?’ in the aged and community care sector. We will IDENTIFY the key issues, concerns, and opportunities the sector is facing, discover how aged care providers can ADAPT to new processes and practices and how to best DELIVER these to ensure the sustainable future of the industry.  

The key themes include: Quality, Mental Health & Dementia, Diversity, Culture, Leadership, Community & Home Care, Retirement Living, Residential Care, Technology, Employee Relations, Workforce, Guardianship and Communication. When submitting a paper please link to a theme if possible.

Submissions are open now and will close Wednesday 28th February 5pm (local time).

Submission papers are to include:

  • 80-word summary of presentation topic
  • 250-word in-depth description of presentation topic, if there are relevant industry case studies please ensure to mention in your description
  • Speaker/s name, organisation, position title, email, and mobile/contact number
  • Speaker/s biography (max. 150 words) and headshot (high – resolution min 500 dpi)
  • Speakers must inform their employing organisation that they intend to submit a paper, and a reference letter must be submitted by the organisation approving this submission.

Please send your submission via email to no later than Wednesday 28th February.
Please note late submissions will not be accepted.
