Applying the New Quality Standards – Survive, Succeed, Surpass
- Target Group:
- Staff from providers of residential aged care and community aged care services; senior/middle managers including clinical managers and facility/service managers, board Members and quality managers.
- Learning Outcomes:
- Develop an understanding of the structure and key concepts of the new Aged Care Quality Standards and associated guidance material;
- Explore mechanisms to optimise consumer engagement to achieve positive consumer outcomes; and
- Learn how to apply the standards and key concepts to everyday service provision.

Beyond the Standard
- Target Group:
- Staff from providers of community aged care services; staff and volunteers who want to understand Standard 1 from the person’s perspective.
- Learning Outcomes:
- Develop an understanding of the impact of the new Aged Care Quality Standards and how they apply to older people;
- Explore approaches to optimise consumer engagement to achieve positive consumer outcomes; and
- Identify the key elements of Standard #1, be able to demonstrate how to respond to these, including practices to capture the evidence.
