Queensland Border Controls, 26 March 2020: Essential travellers from NSW to QLD are exempt from the 14-day quarantine. Essential travellers going to QLD need to apply for an exemption online. They only need to apply once, and will receive their pass via email. They will need to print out their pass and display it on the passenger-side visor, windscreen or dashboard. In QLD, essential travellers are deemed to be: National or State Security Officer or Government employee; health services worker; emergency services worker; transport, freight and logistics worker; specialist skills worker; people living and working close to a border; and compassionate entry or compulsion of law.
