About the role

Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for leading the marketing and communications function, steering the direction and implementation of the organisation’s internal and external marketing and communications strategy.

A senior management position, alongside your team you will be accountable for ensuring ACSA implements marketing initiatives that deliver value, growth and return on investment. You will ensure ACSA effectively communicates with all target audiences through delivery of a range of targeted marketing and communications activities across brand, digital marketing, social, CRM, content development, PR and media.   

This is an opportunity to own and integrate marketing and communications best practice across the organisation, delivering enhanced brand reputation, more effective organisational performance and realisation of organisational priorities.

With a focus on demonstrating ROI, you will be confident in measurement and evaluation of marketing effectiveness, and able to prepare analysis and reporting of all activities to the Senior Executive team. 

Your commercial awareness will see you effectively manage third party providers to deliver marketing and communications fulfilment.

About you

A well-rounded and highly experienced marketing and communications professional, your demonstrated expertise in delivering customer focused, integrated marketing and communications strategies will ensure your success in this role.

You will be a data driven, creative, audience centric thinker, proficient in developing innovative cross-channel solutions to engage with a wide variety of stakeholder groups. 

Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude, you will have well developed people management skills, be able to delegate effectively and create a positive working environment for your team. 

A consultative leader you will demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally and possess outstanding stakeholder management skills. 

Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills are a must.

You will hold:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or equivalent or
  • Over ten years’ experience in a marketing and/or communications position
  • Over three years’ experience in a people management position
