ACSA Chairperson

Paul Sadler, CEO Presbyterian Aged Care NSW & ACT

Paul Sadler is the Chief Executive Officer of Presbyterian Aged Care NSW & ACT. Presbyterian Aged Care serves over 1,700 older people through residential aged care, community care and retirement housing across metropolitan and regional areas of NSW and ACT.  Previously, Paul was CEO of Aged & Community Services NSW & ACT, the peak body representing not-for-profit aged and community care service providers.  He also held various positions on ageing and disability issues in the NSW Government, including Manager of HACC (Home and Community Care) and Ageing Programs, and worked as a social worker with frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers.

Sara Blunt - Vice Chairperson CEO, James Brown Memorial Trust, SA

She has up to date knowledge in leadership and management having attended Mt Eliza Executive Education, building on her Bachelor of Business. She is a graduate of the Vincent Fairfax, Ethics in Leadership program adding an ethical dimension to her skill set. Sara's leadership in aged care and health is highly credible as she is a Registered Nurse.

Sara's leadership experience in aged care, health, professional regulation and the military along with her interest in bringing the best from people has led to highly successful outcomes in leading change.
 

Stephen Cornelissen  Group CEO, Mercy Health, Victoria

Stephen is an experienced health care executive who has worked in a range of roles in hospitals, community organisations and central bureaucracy in both metropolitan and rural settings in Australia and New Zealand.

Stephen has served on a number of national and state advisory groups, and maintains an active profile in local community initiatives. He is committed to, and passionate about, improving care and services for people, particularly those who are disadvantaged or facing adversity.
Stephen has been awarded by the Australian Catholic University the honorary title of Adjunct Professor in recognition of leadership in the area of health and aged care services.
 

John Murray CEO, RAAF Association (WA Division) Inc., WA

John-Murray.jpgJohn took up the role of CEO with the RAAF Association (WA Division) Inc. in May 2013. RAAFA (WA Division) Inc. is the biggest provider of retirement living in WA with six retirement villages comprising 1,416 independent living units, 19 assisted independent units, 446 aged care places and 13 motel units in Bull Creek, Mandurah, Albany and Merriwa. 

John comes with extensive experience in health, aged care and retirement living with senior management experience spanning 25 years. John commenced his career as a Registered Nurse specialising in mental health. His skills in leadership and management are supported by a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership.


Greg Skelton CEO, PresCare QLD

For 20 years, Greg has been committed to providing the highest standard of service to Queensland’s elderly. His impressive reputation is backed by his finance and logistics background. A qualified CPA with a degree in business and an MBA in strategic management, Greg is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

He serves on the Presbyterian Church of Queensland Finance and Administration Board and is a Director/Governor of St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital; and as Audit and Finance Chairman on the PMSA Group of Schools.

 

Lucy O'Flaherty CEO, Glenview Community Services, Tasmania

Lucy has extensive experience working in the Aged and Community Care sector and is currently working towards opening Australia's first Dementia Village, Korongee. Lucy has significant experience in the areas of sector reform having led large teams through industry and legislative changes. Combined with her former career in hospitality and marketing she provides a well-rounded and practical approach to business, with the passion and drive to raise the bar in Aged Care Standards across Australia.

She serves as the Chair for ACSA (Tasmanian Divisional Council), as a Board Member for the Moonah, Glenorchy Business Association and Working It Out, is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Insitute of Management, in which she won the Austrralian Not For Profit Leader of the Year 2016.
